Situated near the bustling intersection of 2 Queens, just a few blocks from the sunny Toronto waterfront, this house on St. Paul street is a simple, yet elegant 5-storey house with a stylish, Scandinavian design. It was a project by 3LHD Architects who worked with structural engineersots, mechanical engineers, landscape architects, from hydarch and a garage company. The clients also wanted their home to be surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens. They also wanted an open floor plan and a light-filled interior. The architects gave the house a simple layout making the most of the lot’s views and views.
The house is accessed from the south-facing street where it benefits from a garage, an office, a large living and dining room and two guest bedrooms. It contains three bedrooms and three full rooms in total. It also has three levels. The top two floors include the dining room and kitchen, the media room and powder room. The living room has a cozy fireplace and a floor-to-ceiling window on the north side of the room. A corridor has also been placed along the entire length of the west wall, thus offering access to the sleeping areas.
